Flagship course

Audit KPI Scorecard Studio

Six weeks to design definitions, peer rules, and executive narratives that hold up when an Audit KPI benchmarking app exposes awkward gaps.

Live cohort · Informational price from £1,150 · United Kingdom evenings

Line chart trending across a bright interface

Learning outcomes

  • Write measure contracts that prevent mixed units on a single tile
  • Assemble a peer cohort with documented inclusions and exclusions
  • Produce a comparative pack with refresh ownership assigned
  • Brief a sceptical stakeholder using definition-first narrative
  • Identify when the app should refuse a visualisation

Who it suits

Internal auditors, assurance analysts, and performance partners who already own KPI extracts and need a more defensible comparison layer.

It is less suited to teams seeking a plug-and-play dashboard build with no data access.

Modules

Week 1 — Inventory without vanity

Catalogue existing KPIs, mark orphans, and decide what the Audit KPI benchmarking app should refuse to host.

Week 2 — Measure contracts

Numerator, denominator, owner, lineage notes, and last-reviewed timestamps become non-negotiable.

Week 3 — Peer cohort design

Build inclusion rules, stress-test flattering peers, and record exclusions in language committees can read.

Week 4 — Comparative packs

Assemble period comparisons with change flags and known gaps listed beside the chart.

Week 5 — Exception narratives

Rehearse explaining outliers without diluting the KPI or inventing urgency.

Week 6 — Refresh & handoff

Set cadence, owners, and a lightweight QA checklist your team can keep after the cohort ends.

Learner notes

“Week three’s peer critique removed two comparators we had kept for comfort. The pack looked worse and read better.”
Jordan Hale · Internal audit · Birmingham
“Strong on narrative. The lineage homework is lighter than I hoped — facilitators said deep ETL is outside Scorecard Studio.”

FAQ

Do I need the Audit KPI benchmarking app installed?

No. We teach with shared sample workspaces and screenshots. If your organisation already uses a similar tool, you may map exercises to it.

How much time per week?

Plan for one live session (90 minutes) plus three to four hours of artefact work.

What is a real limitation of this course?

We do not rebuild your data warehouse or certify ETL pipelines. If lineage is broken upstream, Scorecard Studio will surface the problem — it will not fix the pipes.

Can teams share seats?

Archive Circle seats are named. Field Notebook library access is individual. Contact us if you need a different arrangement.
